Logging Onto the System:
In order to access the NJDEP application portal web site you will need
to enter a user ID and PIN (Personal Identification Number). If you
are a first time user you can create a User ID and PIN through the user
profile section. To create a user profile, click on the link "Need an ID" or the
link "Create New User
Profile." For additional help regarding the creation of a user
profile please click on the help link on the User profile page.
For RADIUS users: Please note that the ID and PIN here is not
the same PIN used in the RADIUS software. RADIUS users must create a
user profile to create an ID and PIN.
Retrieving a Lost Password:
The NJDEP application portal has the ability to retrieve a password if
you forgot it. To retrieve a lost password click on the link that
says "Forgot Your PIN" and follow the instructions on the
screen.
Requesting a new Air Program Facility ID:
If you are a facility, which has never interacted with the Air Program,
you may not have an Air Program Facility ID. Any facility that has
an existing AIR permit should already have a facility ID. If you do
not have an Air Program Facility ID you may request one by printing this
form and mailing to the address on the form.
Requesting a new Site Remediation Responsible Official PIN:
The submission of modifications to Underground Storage
Tank Registrations requires certification by a Responsible Official.
A Responsible Official is defined in N.J.A.C. 7:27-1.4
is as follows:
- For a corporation: A president, secretary,
treasurer, or vice-president of the corporation; any other person who
performs similar policy or decision making functions for the
corporation; or a duly authorized representative responsible for the
overall operation of a facility (plant manager, etc.)
- For a partnership: A general partner.
- For a sole proprietorship: The proprietor.
- For a government agency: Either a principal
executive officer or ranking elected official.
Any user with access to the facility can complete the
modification application however it will not be submitted to the
Department until it is certified by a responsible official. A
responsible official can request a PIN by complete form SRP-001 and
mailing to the address on the form.
